We are well and truly into the Summer Term now and with the improved weather it actually feels like Summer too! In addition to enjoying the sunnier days, this term also hosts our End of Year Exam Week.

Sunflower and cress seeds have been sown and the nursery classes have been talking about the life cycle of a plant. Linking with the number 3 this week the children have made triangular sandwiches with wholemeal bread (brown week) and jam which they spooned, spread and cut very well and the majority of the children thoroughly enjoyed eating them during snack time.

Although the supermarket has now ceased giving these out we are still accepting any that parents may have.

Lions Club Collection
The Lions Club of Maidenhead are asking for donations of cuddly toys and we have a collection bin in our atrium for you to put these in. They will be collected on Friday 13 May. Thank you in advance.

Summer Fete on 25 June
This year the theme of our fete is 'The Great Outdoors', a theme inspired by the allotment and bushcraft projects the PTA have recently supported.
If you, or anyone you know, would like to take a stall at this year’s event please contact me at emmarobertson@hotmail.co.uk. We are also looking for a number of raffle prizes. If you are able to contribute something please contact me at the same address. Your support, as always, is much appreciated.
Great Gatsby Ball - Saturday 14 May 2016
For those coming to The Great Gatsby Ball next Saturday, we are looking forward to a great evening! The auction and raffle prizes are better than ever. Join Mini, Mid and Kool’s ‘World of Sports’ theme week this coming holiday… build your own golf course, complete the Round the World Sporting Challenge and join our professional vocalist with songs from sporting events around the world!
Creative Kool Xtra activities for older children include dedicated days of Cookery, Crafts and Textiles. Also Sport Xtra provides plenty of opportunity to develop skills with three days of Cricket for boys & girls in Year 3 and above.
