College Planning and PSAT Score Report Night: September 12, 6:30 PM

Crosstown Challenge is Coming!

The 4th Annual Crosstown Challenge Football Game will take place on Friday, September 20th at Woodstock High School. Tickets are $10 each and include a pulled pork dinner and admission to the game. Dinner is served from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. The sophomore game begins at 5:00, with the varsity following at 7:00. There will be a parade of athletes and sponsor recognition between games. Tickets can be purchased from any athlete at North or from the athletic department. D200 passes are not accepted at this game, as this is a fundraiser for both high school's booster clubs. I have attached the flyer, feel free to print or share as you wish. Thank you and hope to see you at the game!
Big picture

News from our Counseling Department.

Recently District 200 purchased a license for a program called Xello for students in grades 7-12. Xello is software that helps students create their own unique roadmap for future success. Through the use of this tool, students will be able to personalize their path through self-knowledge, exploration and planning.

Throughout their 4 years in high school, students will work with their school counselor to research careers and their pathway to getting there. Students can enhance that experience by continuing work on their own with the various lessons that have been assigned to each grade level.

One of the really convenient features on Xello is that seniors can request their transcripts be sent to the different colleges and universities they are applying to! The Registrar will receive a notification and get them sent within two business days. **Please make sure you have a release on file in the Counseling Office**

To log in and begin exploring, students need to be logged in to their District 200 Google account. After that, they can look for the Xello link under the “wcusd200.org bookmarks” to sign in!

From the School Nurse

9th grade and 12th grade students must turn in either their physical or their proof of immunization ASAP! Students who have not submitted their medical records may be excluded from school if we don't have them. If you are having problems getting this completed, please call our nurse, Jeni Butenschoen, at ext. 2122.
