MEDICAL FORMS
Dear Parents,
Looking ahead to the 2023-2024 school year, if your child requires medication or any action plans, your child will need new physician orders and action plans for the school year. Ideally have the physician date the forms following the last day of school. Forms can be found under health services on the D303.ORG website or linked directly here:
Students entering into kindergarten or 2nd grade will need a dental examination and form completed within 18 months of May 15th, 2024. Current 2nd grade students require a dental examination and form completed within 18 months of May 15th, 2023. A vision examination and form is also required for incoming kindergarten students as well as a physical examination and form.
These forms can be submitted to the main office or emailed to the school nurse at Peggy.Faught@d303.org. Please reach out if you have any questions. The health office direct line is 331-228-2204.
Thank you!
Nurse Peggy and Nurse LeeAnna
Calling all 2nd grade musicians!
Over the next few weeks, every current 2nd grader will get the chance to hear a performance by members of the Richmond School orchestra AND try each of the instruments offered in our orchestra program: Violin, Viola, Cello, and Bass. Nearly 1,000 children across D303 elementary schools are involved in our elementary orchestra program!
If your child is interested in joining us, please mark your calendar for our NEW Orchestra Parent Information meeting! At the virtual meeting, you will meet your orchestra director, learn details about the program, how to register, and how to rent an instrument. Each meeting will present the same information, so please join us when you can. We look forward to meeting with you. Please join us for one of these meetings:

Fifth Grade Human Growth and Development
Dear Fifth Grade Parents,
Your child recently participated in a virtual presentation of the Fifth Grade Human Growth and
Development program. Each year, students have many questions regarding the topics covered in the presentation, as well as some questions about topics that were not included. At the end of the presentation, students were given the opportunity to submit a question through a Google form.
The D303 nurses have reviewed these questions and provided answers to the most frequently asked questions. These FAQs have been sorted by gender to facilitate discussion with your child. We encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to review these documents and to talk to your son or daughter about the changes that accompany puberty.
Field Day
It’s that time of year again, Richmond Field Day 2023! Our field day will be Tuesday, May 23rd. Parents may use the attached link to volunteer to help run a field day station. There will be a need for morning and afternoon volunteers. The students love to see you on this day.
