Grace Before Meals
Let's Talk
Have you ever experienced anything so nerve racking that it made you shake?
what was it, and how did you survive?
If you had the opportunity to have your won TV show, what would you present, talk about, or show, and why?
What is the greatest challenge your family has ever faced? And how did you get through it?
How do you think God and prayers can help in competition?
Let's Listen
John 12:1-4 Philippians 4:6 1 Peter 4:8-10
Let's Cook
Father Leo's Funky Fusion Fajitas with Screamin' Sour Cream and Holy Guacamole
Nearly every day, we all experience "throw-downs" to one degree or another.
When preparing this meal, think about the throw-downs others face in life and how they compare to your own. Looking at your trials from a different perspective will help you savor both your meals and your blessings that much more.

Grade 3L sets the tone at assembly this week
We start a brand new school year of prayer and learning too.
We ask God's Blessings on us, for today and all year through.
We're in a different class this year, which scares us just a bit.
The work may be much harder, and we're worried, we admit.
But Jesus, you are with us and together we'll do fine.
We'll do the very best we can, and make good use of time.
We pray for all our classmates, may they be kind and fair.
And bless our teachers, too, dear Lord, for all their love and care.
AMEN

ICK!
When lice show up in your child's class a pamphlet will be sent home to all families.
The best prevention? Talk to your children about how lice travel - they crawl from head to head, or garment to garment. No sharing of hats, combs or brushes. As well, during your child's bath time, do a regular scalp check at the nape of the neck to look for the little guys.
