Thank you for a great year!
I wanted to thank you all for a wonderful year at Plumbrook. Thank you for welcoming me as your building principal. It was wonderful to get to know so many of our students and families. Thank you to our amazing Plumbrook Staff, they are truly incredible educators and support staff who care deeply for your children. Thank you to our parent group (PEP) for bringing all of the "Fun" to Plumbrook. Thank you to our classroom volunteers who provided many helping hands when they were able to come back and help. I am truly looking forward to next year and seeing this amazing community come together again.
Enjoy this more relaxing time with your family and we look forward to the 2022-23 school year. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

UCS Family Literacy Connection
Nominate a Plumbrook Staff Member as a #UCSChampion
Resilience. Dedication. Leadership. Service.
Utica Community Schools is once again celebrating the stories of everyday heroes who represent these principles in our community through a month-long series called #UCSchampions.
“This year once again challenged our community, and I am proud of the continued partnerships that support our students and families,” said Superintendent Robert S. Monroe. “UCS has a long history of coming together to tackle hard issues. We want to again ask our community to help us tell those stories that inspire us and remind us of the power of community.”
Community members can nominate past or present individuals, groups or programs. To suggest champions, please visit http://www.uticak12.org/ucschampions
Medical Forms for the 2022-2023 School Year
Utica Community Schools are committed to providing a healthy and safe environment for each of our students. A health plan is required to be completed at the beginning of every school year. For your child's safety we ask that all health forms are turned in prior to the first day of school. While that date has not yet been finalized yet, I felt it was important to send this information out to you now, as getting an appointment to see the doctor to have them sign the medical forms may sometimes take a little bit of time!
Health plans should be completed for any condition that may involve special dietary considerations, activity levels, medications, or treatment of urgent problems. Completion of health plans allows our staff to take the best possible care of your child.
A physician's signature is required on all health plans. Any medications that are to be distributed by school staff or used by students at school must have an Authorization for Medication completed and signed by a physician, including any over-the-counter medications.
Please return all the necessary, completed and signed forms (dated after June 11th) to: officeplumbrook@uticak12.org
Your cooperation will help ensure a safe and healthy school year. Any questions can be directed to: Tiffanie Polizzi, BSN, RN Plumbrook Nurse, Utica Community Schools tiffanie.polizzi@uticak12.org
FAMILY PORTAL REPLACING "SEND MONEY TO SCHOOL" SITE
The new family portal website will replace sendmoneytoschool.com and will also contain the link to complete free and reduced meal applications, as well as Household Income Report forms for CEP sites.
Attention all families: Sendmoneytoschool.com, the site used to deposit funds to your student’s meal account, has been replaced. Please begin using https://utica.familyportal.cloud to deposit funds. If you currently have an account with sendmoneytoschool.com your children will be moved over to the new account after completing registration.
Please view this video showing how to create an account on the new website: https://utica.familyportal.cloud/tutorials.
This site also contains the link to apply for free and reduced price meals. As a reminder, the USDA subsidized free meal program is ending June 30, 2022. Families without an approved free or reduced price meal application will be charged the full meal price next school year. You can apply for the 2022-2023 school year as early as July 1.
