Out of the world's roughly 22,000 VEX teams, they will be competing against 580 of the best from 40 different countries.
The team that has won this is Sparta Robotic sub team 5249 Z , robot name "Ring Leader." This team is composed of co-captains Sarah Bargfrede and Nick Ventresca and team members Hayden Budofsky, Shaelin Murphy, Andy Stefanik, Tanner Mell, and Anthony DelCoro.
They are the recipients of two Design Awards for process control and development, one Innovation Award for mechanical ingenuity and a Think Award for advanced coding techniques and achievement.
