Dear Robert Hunter families,
We had a great week at RH with some very special events.
Kindergarten and 2nd grade students enjoyed an assembly with “Eyes of the Wild” and they got to see and learn about live animals in school. Thank you to the PTO for supporting these enriching experiences for our students!
Our fourth graders performed beautifully in their spring concert. This was the first in-person concert that we have had in over two years. It was so wonderful to see all of our students together on stage making music together. We would like to extend a special thank you to Ms. Alexanderson, RH music teacher, for her hard work in putting together the concert.
Our week ended with Diversity Night, when we celebrated the diverse cultures that make up our Robert Hunter community. Please see a video with some highlights here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1q6DBYJRQve2uQTzz2YII3ufGsI8X1uOt/view?usp=sharing
Students and their families performed dances, taught us to count and name colors in Spanish, shared about their heritage and cultures, and food was sampled representing over 20 countries! This is one of our favorite nights of the school year, and we look forward to growing this annual celebration. Thank you to ESL teachers, Mrs Martinez and Mr. Quinn, for their hard work in planning this event! Thank you to the RH teachers and PTO who helped, and thank you to all of the families that participated! We are so grateful to be a part of this special community!
Warm regards,
Mrs. Glaab and Mrs. Braynor
