Weekly Message
We hope the long Labor Day weekend treated everyone well! It was nice to have an extra day off after these past three busy weeks to get the school year started. School is now in full swing. We will be providing additional STAR testing information on Wednesday. Additional information on SLO's and evaluation will be coming soon. Please let us know if you need assistance with anything. Enjoy and spread joy in the days ahead!

School News
- Shout Outs: To all those that were able to make it to the "Back to School Picnic" on Thursday! There was a great turnout!
- RBT: Students are assigned to work with Mr. Boyd by administration and our Behavior Interventionist, Mrs. Tuzzo. If you are having behavior issues with a student, you need to refer to administration for assistance. Do not go directly to Mr. Boyd. We will provide further clarification on how this position will be used on Wednesday.
- Dismissal Times: We will be dismissing shuttle students at 2:10, car riders at 2:17, and bus riders at 2:20 going forward.
- Wednesday: We will have a faculty meeting at 2:50. Everyone may dress down with it being the first Wednesday of the month. STAR Training may run a little long to provide a lot of time for a staff activity, but we will try our best.
- Literacy Expectations: As a reminder to all, the Lucy Calkins Reading and Writing Units of Study is the expected curriculum for all classrooms. GT has additional curriculum for reading and writing. Words Their Way is the expected word study for all classrooms including GT. Please see Marion if you need assistance for implementation or would like to participate in a coaching cycle.
