Dance Fit Fundraiser
Our Penny Road Dance Fit Program kicked off this week, and we are thrilled about this year’s program! We’ve asked the fundraising experts at Booster to power our two-week Dance Fit program, making our fundraising simpler, more profitable, and more FUN. Our Virtual Dance Fit includes EVERY student in a fun, fitness event that focuses on character while helping our school raise much-needed funds.
This year, our entire school is raising funds to fund LEXIA, a literacy reading program used within our school by all grades. Our goal is to raise $12,000 and we need YOUR help by sharing with friends/family, and donating if you are able!
Here’s how you can support Penny Road:
- Register your student on funrun.com by searching “Penny Road”. Once you do, your student will receive a FREE GIFT just for being registered.
- Reach out to sponsors. With funrun.com’s smart sharing tools, reaching out to sponsors is easier than ever, and your student will receive a PRIZE OR BE ENTERED INTO A SWEEPSTAKES, just for sharing! You can share via Facebook, our Easy Emailer, or create a Student Star Video where your student is the star!
- Ask your child about the Sports City Now Character Lesson of the Day! Students will be learning how to use Teamwork, Care, Courage, Grit, and Celebration in their everyday lives. Join along by watching the fun character videos with your child on funrun.com
Weekend Challenge: Any student that gets a $2 per dance minute pledge (or $60 in flat donations) over the weekend will earn a BONUS PRIZE!! Check it out on funrun.com!
Thank you for supporting our school!
Calling all parents: We need your help! Our school has an opportunity to be part of The National PTA Reflections Program. The Program is an arts recognition and achievement program for Pre-K- 12th-grade students. It offers these students opportunities to express themselves creatively in six different art categories and to receive positive recognition for original works of art inspired by a pre-selected theme: REFLECTIONS 2020 - 2021 Theme is: I MATTER BECAUSE...
Please connect with Joy Mega, VP of Education @ firstname.lastname@example.org to learn more about volunteering to spearhead this program at our school this year. There can be a group or one person who wants to take this on, just connect with Joy no later than October 23 if you are interested.
