Bulldog PRIDE:
Our behavior, academic, and conduct standards are exemplified through Bulldog PRIDE.
PRIDE stands for
Proud
Respectful
Individual Thinker
Dedicated to Academics
Engaged
During the school year, we recognize students for showing Bulldog PRIDE in the classroom, in the cafeteria, on campus, and in the community with HERO points and other rewards. Many ZHS students model the BulldogPRIDE behaviors each day and we will continue to celebrate them!
**For students in the halls or out of class, parents and guardians will be contacted when your student is not meeting expectations. Please partner with us and talk with your student about the importance of attending each class every day on time and actively participating in their education. If you'd like to volunteer to help us clear the hallways and restrooms, please email cstanley@pasco.k12.fl.us so we can arrange a time.**

Thank you to our families have completed the required acknowledgments in the MyStudent Portal.

YPE student survey
The YPE program at ZHS is looking for students to participate in a 10-15 minute virtual survey looking to better understand how students feel on campus. This survey is focusing on students' beliefs in their own academic potential, the support they feel they have from staff, and the levels for which they feel like a member of the community.
Any students who want to participate must have a signed permission slip from their parents and can access the survey only in the front office. Want more information? See a YPE student or Ms. Slouha.
ZHS Prom 2023
Is your Junior or Senior thinking about going to Prom on April 29?
Here’s what you need to know:
In order to purchase a ticket, students must have:
· Attendance: Fewer than 5 full unexcused days and fewer than 30 unexcused class periods in 2nd semester.
· GPA: No F’s in 3rd quarter and 2.0 (or above) Cumulative Unweighted GPA
· Behavior: No Level 3 or Fighting Referrals. 1 or fewer Level 2 referrals for the year.
Once you qualify and purchase your ticket, all Attendance, GPA, and Behavior requirements must be maintained. If requirements are not maintained, attendance to Prom will be revoked without a refund. (These minimum requirements also apply to Seniors for Grad Bash.)
If students have any questions about these minimum requirements, they can schedule an appointment with Dr. Stanley. A sign up sheet will be available in the front office.
Make sure to purchase your yearbook!
If you plan to purchase a yearbook this year, please make sure to purchase as soon as possible. We are anticipating a sell out!

See Mr. Fernandez with any questions.
Timely Pick Up Reminder
Once students have completed practice, a school event, or their campus meeting(s), they need to be picked up or make arrangements to safely walk home. We have many instances where students did not have a ride or were on campus long after their event had concluded. If this continues, students will not be permitted to continue in their activity.
Parent/Spectator Code of Conduct
At ZHS, we want to remind all parents and spectators of our core values.
We want to ensure that all student-athletes and participants are supported and encouraged.
While you may not agree with every decision, please remember that these students, the officials, and coaches are all human and deserve respect for their efforts.
Any abuse or disrespect of the staff, officials, students, coaches, or other spectators may result in your removal from the event.
Thank you for supporting our students, coaches, staff, and the officials with BulldogPRIDE!

How can I become a SAC member?
- Elected members of the School Advisory Council include teachers, educational support personnel, parents, and secondary students.
- Members are also appointed to the council by the principal to represent business and the community.
- Students serve as SAC members for a one year term.
- A chairperson is elected annually by the SAC membership.
Any parent, community business member, teacher, or student interested in serving on our SAC committee for the 2022-2023 school year--please email Mrs. McCafferty at cmccaffe@pasco.k12.fl.us for a nomination form. This is a great way to get involved and stay connected to your Bulldog family.

Thank you!
Thank you to all of the people, organizations, and community members who donate time, money, gifts, food, resources and more to the ZHS student body, staff, and community.
