There's more than one way...
To skin a cat
This is a good segway into talking about our second round of RtI meetings this Thursday. While we know we have students who are struggling with certain concepts and TEKS, what other ways besides the normal have you used to help them understand? Remember, when you bring a student to discuss Thursday bring with you all the evidence and data you have to help us understand and see where the student is struggling. In our RtI question and answer session this week April said, "In God we trust, all others bring data!" I told her I loved that saying and would be using it at Taylor!
I feel like I'm on a Dr. J rant today so let me, as he says, land the plane! I want to end with a couple examples of outside the box ways two of our teachers organized their thoughts on chapters 1&2. You will see below a wordle created by Mandi Dearborn and a canva book that Tori Ramirez made to answer her questions. This is just two examples of the great thinking that went into our discussion and a good picture of the way different thinkers get to the same answer!
