I’m sure you’re very busy with the start of the new year, but I would like to remind you that the deadline for Leadership 500 survey responses is January 20, 2015 at 11:59 p.m. EST. You will not be contacted by Leadership 500 and all email addresses will remain private.

As the Learning and Development Center transitions and re-positions its footprint to effect change in the overall strategy for the City of Houston, we welcome and value the feedback of our trademark course (LIP, CAPS, ADP) participants. Your first-hand experience is the truest indicator of our program’s excellence.

LEAD 2015 is a platform to change the world by inspiring individuals, communities, organizations and governments to choose education, collaboration and ethical leadership instead of ignorance, indifference and violence.

It will be broadcast globally from the Four Seasons Resort in Dallas on March 30th and March 31st, 2015.

LEAD truly believes that choice not chance, coupled with inspiration and dedication are what instill leadership capabilities. LEAD2015 exists to share powerful leadership stories from hand-selected world thought leaders from each of the following communities:

Founder of the Clinton Foundation, 42nd President of the United States

William Jefferson Clinton was the first Democratic president in six decades to be elected twice – first in 1992 and then in 1996. Under his leadership, the country enjoyed the strongest economy in a generation and the longest economic expansion in U.S. history, including the creation of more than 22 million jobs.

After leaving the White House, President Clinton established the Clinton Foundation with the mission to improve global health, strengthen economies, promote health and wellness, and protect the environment.

In addition to his Foundation work, President Clinton has served as the top United Nations envoy for the Indian Ocean tsunami recovery effort and as the UN Special Envoy to Haiti. Today, the Clinton Foundation is supporting economic growth, capacity building, and education in Haiti.

President Clinton was born on August 19, 1946, in Hope, Arkansas. He and his wife Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton have one daughter, Chelsea, and live in Chappaqua, New York. More...
