FWISD Softball

Paschal HS

Last Thursday-Saturday, your Varsity Lady Panther Softball team competed in the Dallas ISD Softball Invitational Tournament. We won all six games and received the 1st place Championship Trophy for the bracket we competed in. Freshman pitcher, Natalia Rojas, was awarded the Softball Invitational Award and Sophomore catcher, Samantha Garcia, was awarded Most Valuable Player. We are so proud of the hard work and dedication our girls put into winning this tournament.

Benbrook HS

Let's congratulate Jaynee Naran and Abbie Miller for representing Benbrook in Girls Doubles 2 for coming in 3rd place. This was a long tournament with 16 high schools at the Arlington Court Center. They and played Crowley, Joshua, and Decatur.

Robert Heick, Boys Doubles 1 came in 4th playing Arlington Seguin, Crowley, Bowie, and Naaman Forest. He battled in some tough matches against some 5A and 6A schools. Way to go Benbrook!

I wanted to give a shout out to our South Hills golf team for winning the team tournament yesterday. If you have they young men in class or you see them around please CONGRAULATE them on a job well done. Each one of these ahtletes posted a personal best score yesterday. They are all 1st or year players to the game of golf. I'm EXTREMLY PROUND of these young men!

The boys and girls track team competed in the Dallas Bryan Adams Cougar Relays last Saturday and represented Western Hills well.

🏀 The MS 8th Grade Boys Basketball Team finished the 2022 Season as the FWISD City Champions.

The MS 8th Grade Girls Basketball Team finished the 2022 Season as the FWISD City Runner-Up on this past Saturday!! 🏀
