Newton's Laws
By: Alex Cuevas
Law 1 - The Law of Inertia
An object in motion will stay in motion until acted upon another force. An object at rest will stay at rest until acted upon another force.
Example:
A ball will continue to roll until it hits a wall or it stops from friction.
Vice versa:
A ball will not move until something pushes it.
Law 2 - F=MxA
Force = Mass x Acceleration
Acceleration depends on the mass and force used on the object.
Example:
Pushing a car with more weight will cause the car to move slower than pushing a car with less weight.
Law 3 - Force
For every action, there's an equal and opposite reaction.
Example:
Letting air out of a balloon
Action: Air goes down, Reaction: Balloon goes up.
