Why is it happening?

Another would be there aren't really any skilled teachers in the areas of where there is no education.
Also, no school to teach at because most people that have no education are living where poverty is a very big issue as well and they have no learning materials such as textbooks, pencils, paper, boards, desks, etc.
Children with disabilities being excluded.
A BIG reason on lack of education is gender. A lot of places don't want women to have education because they don't want them to be able to have a job and know a lot of things.
War is another problem, kids attend school that means a lot of people are in one place at once and that would a lot of people being killed if they were to be attacked.
The distance between home and school can be an issue for a lot of people as well.
Hunger and nutrition is also a problem because the lack of food and water means not very much energy and can cause an illness and children can't attend school being deadly sick and they can't focus if they're starving because they haven't at in three days.
And last but not least, expenses of education is also a huge problem because where people usually don't have education, they're usually deep in poverty.
Why is this a global issue?
