Sixth Grade Scoop!
May 18, 2015
Curriculum Counts!
Math- Students are turning in Geo Cities and these are posted in the main hallway to show off their hard work. Front Row will be the focus for the remainder of the year for review of skills.
Spelling- No Words for the next two weeks
Writing- Students will practice summarizing again as a review. They will work on this with a reading project in connection with the current class read.
Reading- We have finished The Pinballs. Students are to look at a specific character's point of view and infer how this adds to that character in the story. This project has been started in class and will be completed by this week for their final Reading Grade.
Science- Summarize the Conservation field trip experience and what conservation means to them. Take post test from the Conservation unit this week. (Not for a grade; Grant requirement.)
