Onslow County Schools ~ December 11, 2015

What a Great Week!

What a great week it has been with two big district events. On Wednesday we celebrated innovation with the presentation of Bright Idea grants from JOEMC. In its 22nd year, JOEMC has awarded well over $1.1 million dollars to fund more than 4,600 teacher projects impacting countless students across Jones, Onslow, and Pender counties.

On Thursday morning we celebrated business partnerships with the BASES reception. We had a great turn out with well over 200 in attendance. BASES is our way of recognizing business for what they do all year long to support student success.

Both of these events are true pictures of community and what it takes to assure our students have all they need to be successful and ready for the ever-changing world ahead of them.
