We had a fun week. Our Kingsley Trunk or Treat was outrageously successful; the children and adults had a great time and we raised another $1,900 for our playground. Thank you to everyone who was able to participate.
Also, thank you to all of those who were able to make it to our Halloween Parade and who volunteered for the classroom parties. It was great seeing so many fun costumes and smiling faces!
Veteran Photos are due today. Please see below for details. If you still have a photo to send in, please reach out to Mr. Brewster or Mrs. Gajewski. These will be displayed on Veteran's Day later this month.
Please remember there is NO SCHOOL Tuesday, November 8th due to Election Day, and clocks get set back an hour this weekend.

Grove Express
The Education Foundation of Downers Grove District 58 invites the community to participate in the Grove Express 5K on Thanksgiving Day. A portion of the proceeds will benefit District 58 students! Early bird registration has been extended through Nov. 6. Learn more here. Sign up here.
Veteran's Day
All Kingsley students are encouraged to submit one photo of each Veteran they would like to celebrate this November. Photos should have the following information:
1) The Veteran's name
2) The student's name and classroom teacher
Please do not email photos. Photos will be on display during the month of November. We will also place mini American flags at the Kingsley School main entrance on Veteran's Day to recognize each Veteran submitted.
Students should submit pictures by Friday, November 4th. Photos will be returned. Thank you to all of the Veterans in our Kingsley Community for your service!

Parking During Arrival and Dismissal
As a reminder, the parking lot is closed during arrival and dismissal. This allows district buses and vans to complete their routes. Also, for the safety of students, we do not want them walking through the parking lot with moving vehicles.
These procedures allow for the safety of our students and neighbors. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Kingsley Playground Update:
Kingsley Plays Together (Playground Committee) and PTA have joined forces. This year's proceeds support our December 2022 goal of $320,000 for a new playground.

Grades 1-6 and OKEEP - 8:15am-3:00pm
Professional Learning Mondays (K-8)
Kindergarten (OKEEP) -6th grade: 2:00p.m. dismissal
AM Only Kindergarten will dismiss at regular time 11:20a.m.
