"The Importance of Argument in a Digital Age"
In a world of information overload, where "fake news" can reside in the same digital space as peer reviewed research, how do we evaluate what we read? How do we think critically about what we write, post, and publish in digital spaces? This lecture by Dr. Kristen Hawley Turner, co-author of Connected Reading: Teaching Adolescent Readers in a Digital World and Argument in the Real World: Teaching Adolescents to Read and Write Digital Texts will explore these questions.
