Physical and Chemical Changes
Oh ya
What is a chemical change?
A chemical change is a new form of chemical substances. A chemical change involves breaking of bonds between things. Such as atoms. This is a chemical change, for example. Rusting nails are a chemical change. The reason why the nails start to rust is because when the iron nails gets in contact with water, or oxygen, the rusting starts to occur. They get worse over time. When iron rusts it becomes brown and fragile, it looses its liver color. What is physical change? Physical change is used to separate elements and mixtures. A physical change occurs when two objects bound and brake. A physical change is any phase change.
