Celebrating Holidays
If you have a favorite story or information that you would like to share about holidays and traditions celebrated by your family, please reach out to me!
To kick off the countdown to Winter Break, we have a number of dress up days on the calendar. Holiday/Festive attire does not mean strictly red and green. Get creative to represent the holiday/s that you do celebrate.

Volunteers
- Volunteers must show proof of full vaccination.
- Volunteers must be cleared through our District's online volunteer portal.
- Once your application is cleared by our District's Human Resources Department, there is a mandatory 14-day waiting period for the LPD to process volunteer names. Volunteers cannot participate in school activities until their clearance date.
- Classroom volunteers are limited to a maximum of 2 in a classroom at any given time.
- Masks are required.
- Once you complete the online volunteer portal our office will review your forms and send them to the Human Resources Department.
- Bring proof of a negative TB test and your COVID-19 Vaccination Record to the office staff.
- Teachers need to create volunteer sign-ups.
- Read and agree to the guidelines from our District's Volunteer Handbook.
Keep in mind that not all teachers need the extra support in their classrooms and those that do will have specific times when the help will be needed. The classroom teachers will communicate this information to you. Please be patient as the teachers work on their schedules.

Universal Free Lunch
"Our Child Nutrition Department is excited to share that all students, regardless of family income, can receive a daily school lunch free of charge for all instructional days in the 2021-22 school year! While a free and reduced lunch application does not apply this year, completing the Alternate Income Form can result in students qualifying for additional benefits such as Pandemic EBT, scholarships for placement exams, and discounted internet service."
