Career Resource Center
ASVAB
The Career Resource Center is offering the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB), which is a career research program. The Armed Services use this program as a military entrance program to determine qualification. In addition, this program offers GREAT insight for students to help explore the world of work and gain confidence in making the best career decisions for themselves, outside of the military. This test is given at no cost to students. Once the test is complete, a certified specialist comes back to Grand Blanc to provide an in-depth seminar to explain results to the students.
Session #1: Thursday, October 31st
Session #2: Thursday, November 7th

College Application Process
Seniors are encouraged to continue completing their college applications on-line. It is an honor for a staff member to be asked to write a letter of recommendation and they want to do a good job in representing you to the college of your choice. Please ask well in advance (7-10 days) of the deadline. Thank you!
Scholarships
A list of scholarships is available in the senior documents file on the high school webpage. The list is updated every few weeks. Be sure to check out what opportunities are available for getting money for college!
College Visits
College reps are visiting us on a weekly basis! For a list of colleges coming to visit please check the announcements. We are using Remind101 to register students for college visits. The text code for each individual college is provided and students must sign up in advance to attend the meetings. This is an excellent opportunity for students to learn about different colleges and ask questions!
