Looking Forward To Getting Back On The Hardwood Soon!
Board 26 Members:
As an executive committee, we will be looking into creative ways to hold our meetings (some of us have become masters at using Zoom to connect with people). We will be coming together soon to start looking at the upcoming season. When we do meet, will will keep everyone informed by including our working agendas and meeting notes.
If anyone still hasn't been paid for working games, please let your assignors know. It will be much easier if one person contacts a school instead of schools being hit by many emails. Again, be patient, as I know schools are running now on slim numbers of personnel. We will get it all straightened when things slowly come back to normal.
Please be safe, practice social distancing, and do the right things during this unprecedented time period. Additionally, please reach out to me/us if we can assist you in any way.
If you are looking for a way to increase your knowledge on officiating, take at what the MIAA has sent out for free - look below:
A few weeks ago the NFHS announced: “Officiating Courses Available for Free Through July 1 on the NFHS Learning Center.” If you would like to access these courses, go to the Learning Center at www.nfhslearn.com. This could be a great chance to spend some time honing your skills, especially for those spring officials waiting for sports to begin.
Scholarship Update
All SCHOLARSHIP applications will be required to be submitted by June 15. We appreciate the members who have had the sons and daughters ALREADY submit. Anyone with FAMILY Members who HAVE NOT requested or not submitted should be advised that the deadline has been EXTENDED. If you have any questions, please reach out to Charlie Fischer at charliefischer@townisp.com
