Library Visit Tomorrow - Students wear Buccaneer Blue!

We had a great time learning about U. S. symbols last week. The students were very interested in these important symbols of our country. This week we will be studying the day and night sky.

We have several events coming up over the next 3-4 weeks. On Friday, April 22, we will be traveling to NBH High School to plant trees in honor of Earth Day. During the week of May 2, students will be taking the last MAP assessment of the year. We are also planning our final field trip for May 11 - Shipwreck Island! The Spring Carnival is also planned for Friday, May 13. You will be receiving more information about all these events when they get closer.

Though the end of the school year is quickly approaching, we still have a lot to do and learn. Please continue to read with your child each night. Don’t forget to check your child’s folder and fill out their reading log. It is important that you regularly review sight words, letter names and sounds, as well as numbers with your child.
