Access the complete basketball schedule HERE. Students are welcome to join us after school for home games. A game day permission slip is required. Students: $4 and Adults: $6 with concessions available.

For nights where there are two games, please be available by 7:30 pm to pick up your child.

Junior Achievement - Needs Volunteers THIS Week!

RMS will once again attend the Junior Achievement Center located in Alliance Academy during the 2nd full week in November. The seventh grade will be traveling with the teams divided below on specific days. We need many volunteers each day. If you can please volunteer, please use the appropriate link below. 8th Grade Tribute Ads - Order by November 22

Eighth Grade Ads are a great way to celebrate your child's achievements. These ads will be featured in the RMS 2018 yearbook, and it serves as a tribute to your child before they go off to high school. There is limited space for these ads in the yearbook, so act fast to reserve a spot for your Eighth Grader.

  • Go to
  • Search for Riverwatch Middle School.
  • Click on the icon labeled Yearbook & Ads
  • Scroll down and click on 1 Block Ad Space
    • Only one eighth-grade ad per student
  • Complete payment for order.
  • You will receive an email within 24 hours, from Balfour, with instructions on how to upload your portrait photo and message.
    • Only one picture (portrait layout) may be submitted
    • Your message is limited to 275 characters (approximately 50 words)

Nominations for November Teacher of the Month

Nominations are open for November's Teacher of the Month. Please nominate a teacher and/or give special recognition to a staff member. All employees receive a copy of the notes from the Riverwatch community. Click HERE to nominate.

Lost and Found

Lost and found is being collected and located in the front hallway of the school. All unclaimed items will be donated on Friday, November 22nd.

Community News

Transition Information for Parents of 8th Grade Students

Out of District High School Information

Each high school in Forsyth County has specific programs and pathways that are offered. If your child has an interest in one of the pathways offered at a high school other than Lambert High School, you may find information about the process to request an Out of District approval here. Please note that requests are reviewed at the district level and do not guarantee acceptance. You may also visit the Riverwatch Counseling Page on our website for additional information.

Alliance Academy for Innovation to Visit

Representatives from AAI will be here Friday during 8th grade Connections to talk with interested 8th grade students. They will highlight the different pathways and answer questions about next steps. Alliance is also hosting several informational parent nights for interested families.

8th Grade Dance

If you are interested in helping with the 8th Grade Dance, to be held in March, please email We are looking for many hands to make for light work.

The PTSO is accepting semi-formal dresses which will be used for a "swap n shop" in early spring in preparation for the dance.
