Winter Holiday Party
Our Winter Class Parties are just around the corner! Your Room Representatives have met by grade level and have planned THE most fun parties. Many games and crafts are planned and the PTA will provide cheese pizza for all classes. We will also have a book exchange so please SEND a WRAPPED BOOK ($5 or less) for the party BY DECEMBER 16 and indicate whether it is for a girl, a boy or is unisex. All parents are invited to attend the parties. Please come to the office and sign in. If you arrive before 2:15, you may wait in the library until 2:15. If you have any questions, please contact your Head Room Representative.
4th Grade Bread Donations
Learn Bake Share Program
Our 4th grade students participated in the King Arthur Learn Bake Share Program and baked bread from scratch with their families. Over 100 loaves of bread were taken to St. Jude Catholic Church's food pantry on Tuesday for them to be able to distribute to those in the community in need. What a great gift!
The following 4th grade students won the opportunity to deliver the bread with Mrs. Eastlick and Mrs. Dressel: Carley Mitchamore, Ava, Emerson, Austin Callis, D'Aren Igho-Osagie, Noah Barton, Sterling Butler, and Rylee White.
-3rd grade sponsored an Angel Tree family. They brought in over $1000 in donations and then went shopping together as a group Thursday evening.
-School wide canned food drive brought in almost 1500 items! These are going to Wesley Mission Center and families with ties to WBE.
-Toys for Tots - Mansfield area brought in over 26,000 toys!
-4th grade bread donations to local food bank...over 100 loaves!
I am so proud of our students and families as they give to others and take care of their fellow mankind.
After Saturday’s race, the running club will be taking a break. We will start up again late February. If you didn’t get a chance to join and would like to, we would love to have you. However, I cannot guarantee that you will be able to get a running club tshirt. More info will come next year. -Mrs. Gray
