What is DIBELS?
DIBELS stands for Dynamic Indicators of Basic Early Literacy Skills.
DIBELS are measures that help teachers and schools determine how students are performing on important reading skills. It is used to identify children who may need extra help to become good readers. Each test is an indicator of how well a child is doing in learning a particular early reading skill.
All students in K-2 will take part in the DIBELS assessment this year. It is completed one-on-one in a virtual classroom.
