Welcome to 2019-2020

It has been great seeing all the students who have returned this year and getting to know new students as well. The energy in the building is positive and I know it is going to be a great year!

I will be sending out reminders in the next few week and I wanted to let you know about a change in how we call if a child is not in attendance. Starting on Monday, August 19th, we will have attendance in by 8:15 and parents will be getting automatic calls from our attendance system if a student is absent. As we get used to the system, this should cut down on the calls Trudy makes and will call parents faster than we can do it by hand.

If you get a call from the system and your child should be in attendance, it may be that your child was tardy and missed our attendance window or was incorrectly marked absent. Please call and we will get it straightened out.

If you get a call and your child is out that day, please call in to excuse him or her.

Let us know if you have any questions: we will be learning this system with you so thanks in advance for your patience.

I'm looking forward to a wonderful year!

Family Liaison Information

Dear Meadow Point Families,

Happy New Year! I would like to just take a few minutes to introduce myself to everyone. My name is Joei Sayers I am the school's new Family/Community Liaison. I am a Grizzly parent as well. It is my job to help families in our school community get involved by volunteering whether at the school or at a school function as well as connecting you with resources available to you in our community. Please feel free to contact me at any time with questions, ideas or concerns that I can help you with to make Meadow Point Grizzly Great.

Phone: 720-886-8655 Email:

Meadow Point can really thrive when parents and guardians in the community get involved.

Teachers sometimes need help in the class as well as cutting and sorting papers for classroom projects. We have many functions throughout the year where an hour or two of your time can make a huge difference, for instance our school carnival, fun run, field day, school dances etc.

Our PTCO is also a great way to get involved. The meetings are usually one hour once or twice a month you can sit in and listen to what is going on in the Meadow Point school community and give us your feedback.
