Family Survey: WE NEED YOU!
Your input is important as district and school leaders prepare for the 2021-22 school year.
The return to full in-person learning will require district-wide focus in all schools on:
- Student learning
- Student mental health
- Equity Framework knowledge and application
- Blended Learning implementation (incorporating digital learning with in-person learning)
A variety of stakeholder input, including the results of this survey, will be used to inform decision making on prioritizing our strategies and resources.
Please submit your survey by Thursday June 10, thank you!
Year End Reminders
- In-person students in grades 9-11 MUST continue to report EVERY DAY until their work is done for the year! During the final week there may be students who finish and don't need to come every day. Parents/Guardians must excuse them if they will not be attending. This is similar to normal years where parents/guardians may excuse students from a final exam period if that hour doesn't have a final exam to take (study halls, for example).
- All students who come in-person in that last week to complete work and/or receive targeted support may check out a district Chromebook to use for the day.
- Teachers/staff will reach out to students who MUST come in for targeted support and work completion if they are at risk of failing the class.
- Please do not plan any travel or appointments for students in that final week as they may be required to attend in-person.
- Students who have been in distance learning this year may also choose to come for targeted supports during the final week.
- Buses will run as normal through June 10.
When to Stay Home
To keep us in-person for the rest of the school year we need to take appropriate steps. Please remember that if any of the following apply, you MAY NOT come onto school grounds, ride the bus, or in-person classes:
- You have tested positive for COVID-19
- You have been identified as a close contact (school nurse will tell you when you may return)
- You are WAITING on a COVID-19 test and have symptoms
- You have symptoms of COVID-19
- Household member has symptoms and is getting tested for COVID-19
