Principal's Principles
GREETINGS - Please make sure every teacher is greeting every student as they enter the classroom for breakfast, as they enter specials, as they return from lunch & specials.
The Week At-A Glance (WaaG) and other documents are
downloadable at bottom for better viewing.
Dismissal Nuts & Bolts:
At 3:20:
- IA's get kinder to correct bus line area, but they need to be able to clock out AT 3:30.
- Green and Watkins meet IAs and get kinder lined up. Green gets kinder onto the buses.
- Watkins watches kids in line while Green is loading kinder or one of the bus lines.
- Perry greets kids for blue bus at old music room (except for Fridays-we need coverage for this because last Friday there was confusion).
- Special area teachers walk 1st grade students to bus lines (sometime between 3:20-3:30, but in enough time to get to their regular duty area by 3:30).
- *Geislinger meet the red bus kids at 3:20 at the media center (except for Monday, so we would need coverage) to wait with them until George, Matt and Rubi show up. Regardless of who it is, this is gap in supervision that needs to be filled.
- George, Matt, and Rubi to the red bus room.
- Morris to the blue bus room.
- Green and Watkins continue loading grey and brown bus kids (we have a nice flow goingJ).
- After buses leave, Green goes to red room and Watkins goes to blue room until buses arrive.
28-Day Challenge (downloadable packet at bottom)
Boys & Girls Club Supervision Assistance/Rotation
- Grade level of week for morning duty rotates into Computer Lab to assist with B&G Club
- Special Education Self-Contained (following your student pick-up, report to B& G Club)
Principally yours,
~DG

A Message from Kelsey
Hello Giants!
Actions Steps:
1. All adults encourage participation in playing games ( ex: asking students"who wants to play 4 square today?" "Would you like help joining or stating a game?")
2. All adults reinforce game expectations (ex: one soccer ball per game, split 4th & 3rd soccer areas, use equipment properly - volleyball & 4 square ball for bouncing not kicking, etc.)
3. All adults model positive culture (ex: giving high-5's, playing a game, etc)
