Learning At Roblyer Will Take You Places!
We made it through the first month of school! It definitely wasn't without hiccups. We've experienced our share of quarantines already, but our students are returning and we are so thankful for that. Whether they are here or at home we want to ensure every student's achievement and inspire excellence. Our theme this year is "Learning at Roblyer will take you places". We want to help our students imagine the world of possibilities that are available to them through education. As they return from quarantine and illness we are working to help them catch up on missed skills. We have time each day built in to help our students with missing skills and assignments. Together we can keep them on track when the setbacks of this world want to keep them down.
CoVid Protocols
If your child isn't feeling well and is experiencing symptoms of CoVid (according to the CDC), please keep them home and consider testing. Contact the school for academic instructions while absent.
No outside food for classes may be brought without prior permission from the principal. If approved, the items must be individually wrapped.
Water bottles should be brought to school for hydration while CoVid protocols are in place.
Masks are encouraged but not mandated at this time.
According to current OSDH and CDC guidelines, quarantines due to exposure are 10 days, or return on day 8 with a negative test on day 7.
Fully vaccinated individuals or those wearing masks correctly at the time of exposure will not need to quarantine.
If an outside of school exposure occurs, please contact the school so we can document the self-quarantine. Contact tracing for events outside of school is a personal responsibility, not that of the school.
No visitors are allowed inside the building.

Hello Week
New STEAM class!
STUCO Elections, Picture Day, and Book Fair
We have several things coming up this month that need special attention.
1) Students interested in running for student council received applications on Tuesday. If they were absent or are on quarantine, please email Mrs. Majka for more information. Posters can be displayed now. Elections will be held on Sept. 15. Students on quarantine can still run as long as they communicate with Mrs. Majka to complete any necessary forms.
2) Picture Day is Sept 16. There will be a retake day if your child is absent or on quarantine on this day.
3) Our Book Fair will be held Sept 13-16 during school hours in the library. We are looking forward to this event that we were unable to hold last year. Students will be able to make purchases during the day.

Staff PD Day - No School - Sept 17

Communication
If you ever have a question, don't hesitate to call the school or send me an email. We will get back with you as soon as possible.
We will have several important items going out via auto-text and in student backpacks in the next few weeks. Be looking for our Title I Presentation, School Parent Compacts, and a variety of other info by the end of September.
