CHESS
SPEECHBOARD
Toko has been involved in Speechboard for the past 14 years. It is aimed for children in Years 3 to 8. As a school we firmly believe that the skills the children gain from participating in this over many years are invaluable as they become young adults. The main aim of Speechboard is to develop versatility in the use of language, oral presentation and performance skills in young people.

CHANGE OF CLOTHES
A reminder for children to bring a change of clothes (and possibly even a towel) if they are going to be playing games like rugby at lunch times, or using the Mud Kitchen etc. They get very muddy and wet at times and then wear those wet, muddy clothes in class. This isn't good for them or for our classrooms. If they don't have a spare set of clothes, they may be stopped from playing in these areas if it is too muddy.
