ASSESSMENT DEVELOPMENT TEAMS:
Assessment and System Performance is providing opportunities for teachers to participate in assessment development teams next year. Teachers will receive a stipend for creating assessments that will be added to the district assessment library. These d
evelopment teams will meet for a short development cycle (about six weeks) and meet on a Saturday at the beginning and end of the cycle. Click here to see the list of opportunities.PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT UPCOMING EVENTS:
FINANCIAL FRENZY JUNE 16, 2016:
This event is a one day conference that is designed for educators that are NEW to incorporating Financial Literacy in their class/classes. The sessions at this conference will provide opportunities to listen to experts and gather a variety of resources around financial literacy, as well as provide an opportunity to collaborate with peers to develop Financial Literacy units or lessons.
Teachers that attend will receive a stipend for their finished products that are intended to be used during the 2016-2017 school year.

CAREER CONNECT 8TH GRADE EXPO:
The date of the Career Connect 8th Grade Expo will be Wednesday, November 9. The "snow date" (in case of a snow delay or cancellation) will be Thursday, November 10. The DCEF's staff has communicated this information to a "counselor contact" at each middle school and asked them to inform the relevant staff.
