February BBIS Teacher of the Month

Congratulations to Mrs. Michelle Burrell! She has been selected at BBIS as the February Teacher of the Month. Mrs. Burrell is a 5th grade Special Education Co-Teacher for Math.

Mrs. Burrell was chosen for a number of character traits that she displays on and off duty. She is a calm and kind face for everyone she meets; she is usually seen smiling and never heard raising her voice. She has such compassion for the students of BBIS and advocates for the needs of each student.

Mrs. Burrell is knowledgeable in delivering math instruction and talented in being able to adjust lessons for the varied level of students she encounters. She is well organized and does not miss a step in her role at BBIS. Each and every task given to Mrs. Burrell is completed with accuracy, attention to detail, and always with the student put first. Michell Burrell is a true professional educator!

3rd Nine Weeks Progress Reports

Progress Reports will be sent home on Tuesday, February 9, through 8th period teachers. Be sure to check your child's backpack! Progress Reports can also be viewing online through the parent portal.

This is a great time to reach out to your child's teachers via email or phone to check for missing work, low grades, and progress.
