Big Ben

Big Ben is a National Monument at the North end of the Palace of Westminster in London. Big Ben is the nickname for it's actual name which is the "Great Bell" of the clock. The tower is officially known as Elizabeth Tower, renamed to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee of Elizabeth II, prior to being renamed, the "Clock Tower" in 2012. It attracts millions of people per year. This essay will highlight history, significance and beauty of Big Ben.
