TIGER TRIBUNE

Thank you to the Harmony School of Excellence PTO for all of their hard work putting this educational and delicious event together. And, thank you to all of those who volunteered their time and energy into sponsoring a country booth - the food was all amazing and our guests learned so much about every culture!

Happy Thanksgiving from our staff and teachers!

Many thanks to our wonderful PTO and parents for putting together a fantastic lunch for us!

We gathered around the table and had a wonderful time at the Thanksgiving luncheon as the time to show our gratitude for everything we have has arrived.

The internet is a wonderful yet terrifying technology!!!

HSE was honored to host Keenisha Protho from Crime Stoppers of Houston who presented to our 6th-8th graders the importance of being good digital citizens.

All students walked away knowing what is safe to post, when and how to report issues, and other internet safety suggestions.

Fall Book Fair is Here!

Families that join us for our first-ever interactive Math Night will not only have fun but learn some very cool math tricks! Play math-related board games, fly a drone, and more!

There will be free snacks and pizza for purchase!!

Students from UHD will be hosting a Coding Seminar on November 22nd after school.

This event is intended to provide an early introduction to students interested in STEM and open their eyes to how fun STEM can be! We want to show students the opportunities that can arise from STEM and give them helpful skills that will also allow them to see if computer science is a good fit for them! Students will learn how to create their own video games as well as basic coding skills.

The Girls Scouts are coming to HSE!

The Girl Scouts program has a long history of building girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place and we are very excited to share these experiences with the girls.

We are asking that each family commit to providing a snack for at least one meeting. If you prefer, you can choose a week, and make a $10 donation, we will make sure the snack is provided.

Any girl age 5-12 can join. Meetings will be held on the 2nd and last Monday of each month.
