My Journey to ISAK
by Bach Ngo
This is me
I am Bach Ngo from Vietnam.
I am an adaptable, open, honest and humorous person.
Myself
Drawing and Photoshop.
Drawing and Photoshoping is all about patience and creativity. Usually, I draw cars because cars is my passion. I can name almost every car brands.
I enjoy music and playing the piano.
Playing the piano relaxes my mind. I always challenge myself by trying to learn songs that are over my level.
Tennis is my favourite sport.
It keeps me healthy and strong. Tennis also tests your flexibility as well as never giving up.
My childhood
Bach in the wild
As a child, I really like spending time with the nature. Up until I was 5, my neighbourhood was still full of trees and animals. There were even snakes following me on my way t my friend's house!
Mom & Bach making a camp-fire
When I was a little boy, my parents really enjoyed taking me to my dad's home-village. Whenever I was there, I ask my mom or my aunt to make a fire so that I could burn stuff.
Bach praying
This is a picture of me praying. I used to enjoy posing for the adults to take pictures when I was smaller.
Places
Sydney, (2011)
This is me and my little sis in Sydney. From 2010 - 2011, my mom and I moved to Sydney for her masters degree at USYD. At first it was pretty emotional because of my cultural shock, but then I got used to it. This is when my dad, my sis and my grandma visited us during the New Year period.
ISAK, Japan (2013)
One of my most unforgettable experiences ever! I learnt so many things at ISAK Summer School that after this experience, I began to see life and events in a more open way.
Melbourne, (2011)
When I was living in Australia, we also visited our relatives' house in Melbourne. Although the weather was scorching hot, we managed to have lots of fun! Special thanks to our relatives and also Ice-cream for keeping us cool!
Recent time with my family
On a sand hill together (2015).
This was the last vacation I had with my family before coming to ISAK. We had a lot of fun although it was very funny. My impression of this place is the open space and the friendliness of the people here.
Happy Chinese New Year! (2015)
This photo was taken at my house. The people here are my family and my dad's boss' family. We enjoyed this Chinese New Year Lunch very much because we found out so many things in common with each other.
Future: ISAK
I am really looking forward to my 3 years at ISAK!
