Upcoming Schedule Change

Monday, Jan. 11- Friday, Jan. 15th

All students (K-5) will continue their full day remote schedules as they have been for the past few weeks.

Monday, Jan. 18th- Martin Luther King's Birthday: NO SCHOOL

Starting Tuesday, Jan. 19th

All grades (K-5) return to the A/B groupings. This means that students will be with their teacher for 1/2 of the day, and spend the remaining 1/2 on individual activities and CATs at home. Families who have had a placement change received notification earlier this week. If you are unsure of your child's placement, please contact the school (contact info below).

Group A (with the teacher in the mornings)

- 8:45-11:20 am (Tuesday-Friday)

Group B (with the teacher in the afternoons)

- 1:00-3:45 pm (Tuesday-Friday)

Kindergarten, 1st-grade, 2nd-grade, & 3rd-grade: On Jan. 19th will return to In-Person (meaning at school) for 1/2 of their day and engage in individual activities and CATs for the remaining portion of the day at home. Families opting for full remote are still grouped into A or B which means they will Zoom with their teacher rather than physically coming to school.

4th-grade & 5th-grade: Will follow the A/B schedule starting Jan. 19th, BUT will not start any In-Person learning until Tuesday, Jan. 26th. During the week of Jan. 19th, all A/B students will Zoom with their teacher for 1/2 of the day and engage in individual activities and CATs for the remaining portion of the day. Starting Tuesday, Jan. 26th 4th & 5th-grade students will begin In-Person (meaning at school) for 1/2 of their day. Families opting for full remote are still grouped into A or B which means they will Zoom with their teacher rather than physically coming to school.

Starting Jan. 25th, every Monday will be FULLY REMOTE

Going forward, ALL students (K-5) will work with their teacher ALL day (ends at 2:15 pm) remotely via Zoom on Mondays. This means that students will not be in their "A" or "B" groups as they are Tues-Friday.

Preparing for In-Person Learning

Change is difficult for most of us. Check out some of the following tips to get you and your family ready for in-person learning.

Tips for Families:

- Stick to a bedtime (make sure they're getting 8+ hours of sleep)

- Create an evening routine checklist (set an alarm, charge my device, set out my clothes)

- Create a morning routine checklist (eat my breakfast, gather all my supplies (mask included), use the restroom, etc.)

- Set an alarm for when to depart for school

- Ask your teacher which materials NEED to brought to school each day

Arrival / Dismissal - Starting Jan. 19th (K-3) & Jan. 26 (K-5)

Tues-Fridays (Mondays are fully remote)

A Group: Drop off starts at 8:35 am / Pick up starts at 11:20 am

B Group: Drop off starts at 1:00 pm / Pick up starts at 3:45 pm

If you are more than 10-15 min late dropping off or picking up your child, you are asked to park and walk up to the school (Door #1) with your child.
