Are you confused about what exactly the Florida law requires for home educators? Not sure what to do if you're asked for more documentation than is required? Come and hear from the woman who helped get our laws passed and who fights for us at the capitol! Brenda Dickinson, the founder of the Home Education Foundation, will be in Jacksonville Monday, September 26, and wants to support us on our home educating journey. Please share this event with as many home educators as possible!

Brenda Dickinson, Home Education Foundation
Ms. Dickinson and her late husband, Craig, were pioneers in the present-day home education movement. She successfully home educated her two children from kindergarten through high school. She has served as an adviser, consultant and mentor to parents and has lectured on various home education topics. She became the President of the Home Education Foundation after the death of her husband in 1993. As a result of her work on their behalf in the Florida Capitol, home education students enjoy participation in dual enrollment, Bright Futures Scholarships, extracurricular activities, the Florida Virtual School.
