Chem Project Group 2 Presentation

By: Michael Chen, Sean Kim, Arianna Corini, and Kyle Loev

Come see our project presentation!

On June 2nd, 2015, we put out a fire with carbon dioxide in Mrs. Fishman's class in Robert Frost MS. We mysteriously put out a candle using carbon dioxide.

The many steps

We started by mixing sugar and water. Then adding yeast and mixing it more, creating carbon dioxide. Next we lit a candle (it took many tries). Then poured the carbon dioxide from the mixture onto the flame which smothered and put out the flame.
