Principal Update
With November comes the reminder of the girls we lost in the tragedy that took place on November 3, 2018. Heavy hearts gathered together on November 1, 2019 to mark the anniversary and dedicate the Halmstad Learning Pavilion in memory of Jayna Kelley and Autumn Helgeson. Our staff and students honored them with grace and integrity. Many thanks to those who have helped support students, staff and community members.

Notes from the Office
- Please call into school to report your student if they are absent. You can leave a message on the answering machine before 7am with: Student's name, reason for being absent and the student's teacher at 715-726-2415.
- Students arriving after 7:43am are marked tardy. Please have your student to school on time. Recess supervision starts at 7:20am.
- When picking up students after school, please do not park your vehicle in unmarked parking stalls or in the driveway. This makes it difficult for other cars to enter or exit the lot. You may park in the street and then walk up to the building to wait for your student.

Cold Weather
With the weather turning a corner please be sure to provide a coat, hat, mittens/gloves and maybe consider sending layers for your child(ren). Many mornings we hear from our students just how cold they are. The days that are nicer this time of year means that maybe the hat won't necessary for lunch recess. Many will start with it on and take it off as they warm up from moving around. Remember when the snow does start to fly we need to have boots on our student's feet for them to play in particular areas. Be on the lookout for deals!
Take a look below at the Hawks who are bundled up appropriately for the cold!
