Fundraiser Incentive
Book Creator
Many of your students would like to view their books at home and share the link with family members. In order to share the book with others, please follow these directions:
https://intercom.help/bookcreator/sharing-books/publishing-your-book-online
I would include directions in your last parent newsletter about Book Creator so that students can continue to write over the summer. I know you each have 1000 books, but you can always archive books you no longer need as you start to run low as we get closer to the next February.
In order to add Book Creator to Schoology, please follow these directions:
End of Year
Make sure you keep your student data up to date in the "Class of" documents and South's Data Dashboard. We will be utilizing the Class of 2028 document to create student placement for fourth grade.
You do not need to take down any Bulletin Boards that you plan to use in the fall, they may stay up over the summer unless they are faded, ratty, etc. and need a face lift.
Flyin' High with RTI
Jaymee:
I will be out on Monday, but I will be available the rest of the week. Send them on down, if you aren't doing end of year activities.
Renee:
- ALL library books will be returned today. I will bring a cart to your room at some point during the day and will hopefully have another round of overdue notices printed and in your mailboxes by the end of the day. I am VERY happy with the low number of students that are missing a book!
- Math lessons will continue to be updated on Schoology for Math Lab students.
- Zen Zone will be open Friday from 1:45-2:15.
Life Hacks
- Before you throw away a Post-it note, run it between the keys on your keyboard to collect dust, crumbs, and other things that might get trapped in there.
- Drop a battery from six inches off the ground. If it bounces once and falls over it's still good. If it bounces around more than that, it's dead or on its way out.
- Cottage cheese and sour cream will last twice as long if you turn the container upside down. This forms a vacuum seal and prevents bacteria from getting in.
