A Letter from the Coordinator of Residential Life

Dear Caddo families,

At long last, the light at the end of the tunnel is nearing, and we are almost done with the dreaded F word: the Five Week Stretch. We have a crammed many activities into the weeks since Mardi Gras Break, including competitions, club trips, SLAMT, Folio weekend, lock-ins, and more. Our younger students are applying for campus leadership positions for the upcoming year and finding new ways to immerse themselves on campus, and it has been very exciting. That is not to say that we haven't had our tough days, of course, but we have made it together. As we look forward to spring break, we also anticipate other end of the year activities such as the spring leadership retreat, prom, Spring Fling, senior breakfast, and of course, graduation. Parents of seniors: your student probably has a countdown to the second.

Whether your student is using the time away from LSMSA to shop for a prom outfit, visit colleges, or make final college decisions, I hope everyone has a restful break and returns to LSMSA energized and ready for a strong finish to the year. If there is anything I can do to make these last few weeks better, please don't hesitate to let me know!
