Fish population is declining because they are getting caught in large numbers but the ones that are left can reproduce increasing the fish population. Although this takes time so we can't absue this resource.

The Appalachian region, which is PEI, Nova Scotia, New Brunskwick, Newfoundland and Labrador is where these fish are found.
