Principal's Message

Hello Ride Families,

Thank you so much for a great first week of school! We had so many children login and connect with us this week. It was great to see their smiling faces. We are all learning the many ins and outs of remote learning. It seems each day brings a new challenges. But please

don't panic if you were unable to access the courses or upload an assignment on See Saw or Canvas. We will work together to resolve any issues. The teachers are learning as well -- we will conquer the tech issues and recommence to uninterrupted learning very soon!

Students were counted present on August 12th if they did any of the following within a 24 hour period: Zoom called with their teacher, Logged in and completed activities in SeeSaw or Canvas, or If they communicated with their child's teacher either by phone or email.

This week, our main goal was to get to know the kids, ensure that they all can get online and access the materials. It is important that your child login every day for their lessons and complete their activities. If you or they have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to ask during your teacher's daily Zoom office hours.

We hope you have a great weekend with your family, and we will see you online again next week.

Megan Burnham, Principal
