Little Rockets News!
Dear Families,
Welcome to Homecoming Week! We will have special dress-up days this week and end on Friday with the Homecoming Parade. Please visit the NJSD website for other activities happening during the week.
The 4K students will begin their PALS Literacy Screening this week. The teachers will be working with each student, one-on-one, assessing pre-literacy skills. Teachers will share results with you during Parent Teacher Conferences in a few weeks.
Please let me know if you have any questions!
Thank you and have a great week!

Friday: Red/White SPIRIT Day
We look forward to seeing lots of homecoming school spirit!
Be creative and let’s have some fun!!!
Homecoming Parade!
If you have not yet sent an RSVP and are still interested in walking along, you are still welcome. Those that RSVP'd by last Wednesday at noon were sent a "little rocket" cut-out that can be used to decorate your child's wagon. Be creative! It will be fun to see all the different wagons. If you did not get a little rocket, you can decorate your wagon however you would like. Keep in mind our RED & WHITE colors!
I will send out an email and text as soon as I receive final details on the meeting place for the parade (possible on Wednesday). Line-up for the parade will begin at 4:00 but if you can be there by 4:30 at the latest I think that will be ok. I have asked to be toward the front on the parade so our kiddos don't need to wait too long for the parade to get moving!
We look forward to seeing you at this fun event!
