WST Weekly Update
September 20 - September 24, 2021
Covid Updates and Information
Schools continue to evolve the protocols and supports for Covid and Covid related absences.
Most important:
If your student is absent due to Covid, please contact our director, Shani Watkins, as soon as possible at shani.watkins@westsoundtech.org, or by phone 360.473.0552.
Ms. Watkins needs the following information from families:
1. Student name and program at WST
2. The student situation, for example, does your student have symptoms, a positive test, or were they in close contact with someone who tested positive for Covid
This information is provided to our school nurse who will follow up with families on next steps.
Students cleared to return to school must return with a copy of their vaccination status or proof of negative Covid test in order to return to school. Please provide this documentation to your student upon their return.
If your child is exposed to someone that tested positive for Covid while on the WST campus, you will receive a robocall from WST, an email from the District Covid Supervisor, and a follow-up letter from the director.
Questions? Please contact Shani Watkins, at shani.watkins@westsoundtech.org.
