Quarter 2 Report Cards
Grades will be due on Wednesday, January 15th at 4:30pm. Hannah will email teachers when the verification sheets are in your mailboxes on Thursday.
Just a couple reminders for PowerTeacher End of Semester--
Counting Final Exams as an E1 Final Grade: The Q2 date range is 10/28/2019 to 1/08/2020...which is next Wednesday. If you want to count assignments towards the Q2 final grade, you must date your assignments in this date range. A common error is to add assignments that you want to count for the Q2 final grade using dates that fall in the E1 Final Grade date range. The E1 date range is 1/09/2020-1/12/2020. If you want to count the E1 final exam as a separate Final Grade that falls under the E1 column, you must create a Final Test assignment and date it within the E1 date range.
Weighting the S1 Final Grade: Those of you who teach semester classes may want to weight the S1 Final Grade. You can do this by clicking on the Settings Tab, then Traditional Grade Calculations.
Entering Citizenship Grades: Please remember to enter Citizenship grades for Q2 and S1.
Citizenship can be entered by doing the following:
Click the PowerTeacher Pro Link (or click the PTP link displayed under the section)
Change the Reporting Term filter on the right (located below your name) to Q2
Click the A+ Grading icon on the top left and choose Traditional under the Grades heading
You should now see a Citizenship column
Click in the cell under Citizenship to enter the appropriate Citizenship grade for each student
Please let me (Kent Ripplinger) know if you have any questions. Thanks
