Peek at the Week
November 1, 2019
From the Principal’s Desk
Dear Shiloh Family,
Our students, faculty and staff participated in PTSA PINK OUT on Thursday, October 31. I love when we come together as a school community to show our Shiloh P.R.I.D.E. We are prepared, respectful, we have integrity, we are disciplined and engaged. Included below are a few pictures that reflect our high level of engagement. We are still celebrating our successes on the CCRPI, progress from Pre-test to Interim I and celebrating students' individual successes. Admin handed out 12 free passes to the Shiloh High School football game tonight to students who could recite our P.R.I.D.E. mantra. We will be doing things such as this as frequently as possible to support our PBIS initiative for Positive Behaviors.
Please continue to talk to students about the importance of self respect, respect for each other and respect for adults. Our counselors are phenomenal and can provide additional tips for parents to talk to children about conflict resolution and self-control; if needed. These are topics that are important for all students, but especially for middle-school aged students as they begin to mature and face challenges as youth.
