To all Rangers, a heartfelt thank you to everyone for being a valuable part of our students lives and an integral part of their future. We spend more time with our students than we do with our own families and they do the same with us. The relationships you have created or strengthened with our students this year impacted their future. As we all know, relationships lead us to commit and persevere when doubt enters our minds. Relationships provide us with the much needed smile or validation that brings us back day after day. Relationships allow us to connect to the essential human element of our work. Our relationships model for young people how to connect and support one another.

Coupled with the power of relationships is our shared belief that quality educational experiences can change the trajectory of one's life.

Hats off to everyone at ARMS for being a part of this journey. You are part of our Legend!

ARMS Team Accepted to Teaching Trust Team Program

I am very excited to announce ARMS acceptance into the 2015-2016 Teaching Trust Executive Ed. Team Program. Team members are Ms. Jenkins, Mr. Folkenroth, Ms. Taylor, Ms. Nix, Ms. Walker, and Ms. Nix.

Building leadership depth in schools

The Executive Ed for Teams Program supports the principal in developing and distributing leadership talent and capacity. It is a selective program for school leadership teams that want to drive and sustain significant improvement in school culture and quality of instruction in order to increase student performance.

Although there is broad agreement regarding the important role leadership teams play in campus improvement, robust programs that develop highly effective teams are scarce. Our Executive Ed for Teams program resolves two significant issues with typical professional development: It includes the leadership team, not just the principal, and is sequenced to enable participants to apply their learning real time on their campuses.

We serve a critical time in our students lives! Always remember how valuable you are!
